Tuner Spirit 2025
This was a crazy one - in a good way. The amount of cars and people present at this show was an absolute shock. This year was my first year attending Tuner Spirit, so I didn’t have many expectations going in. I have seen coverage from others of their past events, but this was the first year I was actually able to attend. The guys over at Tuner Spirit graciously offered me a media pass last year but I wasn’t in town, so this year when they reached out again, I didn’t want to miss out for a second time.
Admittedly, I did know that Tuner Spirit attracts more of the “stance” crowd, meaning lots of wide body kits, hellaflush wheel and tire fitments, and vinyl wraps. This is not at all a bad thing in any way, shape or form - it’s just not my typical scene, however, I can still appreciate cars that were put together for the main reason to look cool. This is also not to say, that Tuner Spirit only attracts these types of cars, as you will see through-out this post. Being a few years into this now, the team has really cultivated a show that is bringing together all types of enthusiasts who all share love for the same hobby.
I will keep most of the commentary to a minimum as I am a little bit out of my scope of knowledge when it comes to some of the cars that were present at the show. I tried to get a picture of every car there, but with such a large turn-out, it was difficult to capture everything. If I didn’t get a photo of your car, just know that I wasn’t intentionally skipping it. I did get early access to the show during set-up and roll-in, so I did get some photos of people still cleaning up their cars.
Anyways, enjoy the show through my lens.
Focus ST with wide fenders with a set of Forgelite SV04 wheels.
Bug eye Impreza WRX STi with Greddy front lip and Advan R6 wheels. A pair of matching red Bride Zeta 3’s peek out from the interior.
Voltex wing with carbon trunk and rear splitters.
I quite enjoyed this car. Great looking car.
10th gen Civic Si with Robot Craftsman widebody kit, carbon hood and Revolve wheels.
G37 with Liberty Walk front bumper and ESR wheels.
3 series BMW wrapped in a purple/bronze colourway on ESR wheels.
Matte black RX7 on XXRs.
E90 M3 on Magnesium Blue CE28N and a set of Recaro Sportster CS buckets in leather to match the rest of the interior. Clean and done well without being over the top.
Bronze wrapped Charger Scat Pack aired out on Vossen S21-01 wheels.
The Still Plays with Cars group came out to represent at the show. Covered a few of their lineup of cars that were present at the Rev Up Autoshow just two week earlier.
Xavier’s S550 with a new pinstripe.
Jon’s G37 with the Still Plays with Cars group.
Forester on Rotiforms with the matching RC car.
Audi RS6 with carbon accents and colour matched roof box.
Kevmannz widebody Civic with Takata Green TE37SLs. Inside you’ll find a pair of Momo Daytona bucket seats that feature head bolsters. Interesting to see in a street car - shoulder checking must not be a thing.
The fleet from Zee’s Garage was just rolling in. First to line up was this R32 Skyline on Advan GTs.
Zee’s Nismo R34 GTR Z-Tune. Simply pristine and executed to perfection.
Absolutely flawless.
Nissan 240SX that looks relatively stock on the outside until you see the beadlock wheels in the back with a drag radial tire… Underneath the hood is a fully built turbocharged 2JZ making serious power…
Rocket Bunny wide body 350Z on Volk Racing GT-S.
Elijah’s Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VIII on a great fitting spec Enkei NT03+M wheels.
Zee’s 1000+ horsepower R32 looking otherwise stock from the outside with only an addition of a carbon lip and a set of Nismo LMGT4 wheels…
A80 Supra on a set of Niche wheels. It will always be cool to see a MK4 Supra.
Infront of the A80 Supra is an A90 Supra. This Supra came equipped with carbon accents and bead lock wheels in the rear. I saw this car on the dyno a week earlier at Zee’s Garage’s dyno day and it seemed to be having some issues on the top end. Hopefully the owner was able to figure out the issue.
E46 M3 Cab on TE37SLs.
I think this car must have just have gotten finished recently as it was still being worked on in the garage at Zee’s dyno day just a week earlier. Also in Zee’s Garage fashion, the original heart of this M3 got swapped out in favour of a Toyota 1JZ motor with a massive turbo providing boost…
JP of Garage 111’s Acura NA1 NSX on chrome Desmond Regamasters.
VSM EK Civic. Spoon front lip with matching Spoon calipers peeking behind the spokes of the Regamaster Evos. I wasn’t able to get a good photo, but powering this Civic was a turbocharged K…
The interior is pretty much just business with a radio delete and gauges taking it’s place. A Spoon Sports gen 3 steering wheel, billet shifter and standard issued Recaro SR3 with Takata harnesses.
J’s Racing rear wing with what looks to also be signed by J’s Racing president Hisaaki Murakami.
EG Civic equipped with a rare set of Rays Garcia Tune Speed Choppy wheels. The owner also has the full set of “moon faces” but only had them installed on the rear wheels for the show.
John’s EM1 Civic Si. Similar to the silver EK hatch, the footwork of choice is a pair of Spoon calipers with Regamaster Evos. Paint matched First Moulding front lip, J’s Racing rear wing and APR carbon side mirrors round out the exterior. On the inside, a set of Tomcat Yellow Recaro SR3s.
J’s Racing kitted FD with front bumper, carbon hood and rear wing, however those still look to be the original FD5/FD1 CSX/Civic fenders and not FD2 Type R fenders, which the J’s Racing bumper would be designed to fit… 🤔
Varis widebody WRX/STi on air.
STi with Advan TC-4s and Varis rear wing.
Rocket Bunny V1 with Garage 111 livery and gen 2 Volk Racing TE37Vs.
Evo X on Gram Lights 57 DRs and possibly a splitter package built by Infamous Aero(?)
Subaru WRX STi with an aggressive fitting set of Work Emotion T7R wheels. I don’t know what suspension set-up is on here, but I would guess it’s static - which would be rad…
370Z aired out on Work Meisters with massive dish. I’m unfamiliar with the front bumper and side skirts, but looks to be a 326 Power wing mounted in the rear.
Rocket Bunny V1 FR-S.
R32 Skyline Sedan in a pink wrap.
Pandem Rocket Bunny RX-7 with a wide staggered set of Work Meister wheels…
Swapped in LS engine complete with a tucked engine bay…
The rear looking quite aggressive with the large rear fenders and a great fitting set of tires,
Interesting trunk set-up with the wiring display. While the larger majority of people tend to hide fuseboxes and wiring, the owner of this RX-7 turned some of the vehicle wiring into a show piece. Check out the Wilwood control module used for the electric parking brake conversion.
Inside there are a pair of Bride Zeta bucket seats, a wood grain Nardi steering wheel, digital dashboard/cluster, and a set of Greddy Sirius Vision meters/gauges. Also note how the factory parking brake handle is gone now that it’s been converted to an electronic brake.
Very well done car with great attention to details.
Wide body WRX bagged on a set of Forgestar wheels.
326 Power rear wing with what looks to be a custom lip kit/diffuser all around.
Pandem V3 wide body kitted FR-S.
Bagged on a set of deep dish SSR Vienna Kreis. Also wearing a 326 Power rear wing. Good looking car in a nice colour scheme.
VIP styled Camry with battle aero wide body kit and Wed Kranze Bazreia wheels.
As with all VIP builds, lots going on in the interior. Passenger side accessory tray, Katana sword handle shifter, and Sparco R333 front seats.
Harness bar with back seats that look to still be intended for use, with a child seat as well… Junction produce accessories, console tray fitted to hold a hookah and a bottle of Clase Azul for the guardian of the child, or both.
Liberty Walk R35 GTR from Garage 111 received a new LB WORKS livery.
Liberty Walk Type 2 wide body GTR
Ryan’s widebody Audi S4 aired out on his custom set of JC Forgelite wheels.
Another Rocket Bunny 350Z from clean culture.
EK sedan on Work Meister CR01 from the Flawed car group. Clean and simple.
Another EK sedan also with the Flawed car group. This one on Work Meister S1s. I don’t know the specs of the wheels but they had a stretched 145/65R15 tire on them… I don’t even know how you find that tire size, nor what they were made for... Maybe Smart car?
The whole interior had this fuzzy material laid across it, with the matching fuzzy dice hanging from the rear view. Looks cozy.
Green wrapped WRX on chrome Work Meister S1s. Really liked this colour combination.
Toyota Crown on Work VS-KFs
Drift stanced S15 with Origin Labs aero. I forget what was swapped as it’s been a while between me writing up this post and the show, but by the looks of it, a Toyota 1JZ now powers this Nissan.
Kouki S14 on TE37V.
Q50 with SSR Minerva wheels.
Wide body IS300 on Work VSKFs with a huge lip.
AP1 S2000 slammed on chrome Work VSKFs. This was a cool lineup of matching red cars from the Flawed crew.
MK4 Supra with Ridox style front bumper, top secret hood and Blitz 03 wheels. I enjoyed this one.
S14 on Wed Kranze wheels.
Another shot with the shutter speed turned down.
R33 GTR with carbon additions and Work Meister S1s.
3IS on Leon Hardiritt Bugel wheels.
370Z with Work Emotion D9Rs.
G37 on a set of Kansei Tandem wheels.
Wide body Genesis on Work VS-XX.
G37 aired out on Work Meister S1.
BMW M2 with carbon aero.
Kelvin’s Varis FR-S on TE37SLs.
Adrian’s A90 Supra with Advan GTs.
Something you don’t see very often - an Acura Legend. This one wrapped in a colour shifting vinyl and lowered onto some Gram Lights 57CRs.
Wide body WRX wearing a Marlboro livery and Work Emotion S1s.
New generation WRX with aftermarket aero and a wheel you don’t see often - SSR GTX03, which I think work quite well on the new Imprezas.
S15 aired out with Antipathy/SK Forged collaboration wheels. I also think that the 326 Power rear wing may be a recent addition to this car.
Aired out S4 on chromed Audi rotor wheels.
Not too familiar with this platform, but under the hood I spot a 034 Motorsports carbon intake, and assuming an upgraded turbo by CTS Turbo.
So Scare Mustang with widen fender arch flares paired with aggressive splitters.
Flared 370Z on Work CR wheels.
Bagged and wide body Corolla. Not a chassis you see modified to this scale often, so it’s always cool to see somebody making the effort to do something different.
STi wagon with SSR Formula Aero Mesh.
Tuner Decal’s Genesis representing with SO SCARE this weekend. Advan TC-4s, carbon aero, and a Voltex swan neck rear wing.
Clean E30 3 series coupe on classic set of BBS RS wheels.
So good.
Another car that you don’t see often, and a bit under appreciated in my opinion. The fourth generation Mitsubishi Eclipse. This one is modified with a wide body and Kansai wheels.
Sitting inside are a pair of the brightest colourway I’ve ever seen on seats. NRG Prisma bucket seats with a sort of purple pineapple/floral print. Interesting to say the least.
At first glance, this B5 A4 is relatively unassuming. Stock body on a subtle set of Enkeis. From the front and side profile, there isn’t really much that screams aftermarket.
Underneath the hood is a different story, however. As far as I know, Audi traditionally has only ever used V6 engine configuration, and without any noticeable markings, I couldn’t say what engine this is - but powers and resides within the shaved and tucked bay of this Audi. Note the additional piping that routes into the cabin through the firewall…
Looking into the rear cabin of this Audi, is a whole ass JET ENGINE. Somehow the owner of this car got to mounting a jet engine and (presumably) work in conjunction with the car engine up front. Super curious to know how this was all put together and how it all functions. Crazy to see. How does one even acquire a jet engine?? Not pictured, but the exhaust from the jet engine ports out through the trunk. The only thing that screams odd from the exterior was the massive oval shaped hole cut into the trunk which allowed an opening for the exhaust of this engine.
The main stage of the Tuner Spirit show.
Where they had games and festivities planned throughout the day - like musical chairs where any audience members could partake in.
Just behind the main stage was the RC car drift track. This was quite popular and many people came out with their RCs to drift and put on a show for other spectators.
Clean satin white BMW M2 on BC Forged LE wheels.
Fitted with ADRO carbon lip, skirts, diffuser and rear wing,
Lexus LC500 bagged on Wed Kranze Acuerdo wheels. Crazy.
Didn’t expect to see a Shelby Daytona or Factory Five Coupe (I don’t know how to tell) at the show.
Even carrying a full sized spare in the trunk of the car.
Super cool car to see. I don’t know much about them, but it’s a great looking car.
JDM Forester STi representing Outliers YYC. Rolling on some Enkei TS-10 wheels.
Infiniti G37 with an interesting rose decal that flows over the fender, headlight and front windshield. Lowered onto a set of BC Forged RZ39 and infamous aero splitters.
G37 on Vossen CV7s.
Harlequin themed S4 with a statement wheel, the Arelli Rook Asassyns.
A Toyota Altezza Gita with optional Z edition aero and chrome Motegi Battles.
Keitora’s Suzuki Carry making it out to show at Tuner Spirit.
Infamous Aero’s booth and display at the show. They were selling merch and had a seating area as well.
Infamous Aero’s Mustang with their very own New Edge Mustang wide body kit that they designed and produce. Wheels are also a custom 2 piece set also put together by Infamous Aero that they dubbed as the LeMon GTs.
Great looking kit that still compliment the stock body lines and is not overly aggressive and is done quite tastefully.
Subaru Impreza with a Charge Speed front bumper and Kansei KNP.
Andrew’s Aimgain IS-F is no stranger to the car scene here. Here at Tuner Spirit representing the Dizzy Mob crew. Looking clean as ever,
Another car that you don’t see often modified is this Mazda 3. Slammed on Work LS507 wheels and paint matched lip and side skirts, this was quite nice to see something a little less ordinary.
A first gen RHD CR-V dropped on a unique set of tri spoke Anovia Treble wheels.
Dumped NA Miata Work Equip 40s.
Bill’s S15 Silvia - also no stranger to car shows and showing out at Tuner Spirit.
E36 BMW with bolt on flares and Carbyne Sprint wheels.
A Slammed JDM Odyssey Absolute with a roof top tent. Is this a new trend of “overland” slammed utility vehicles?
Continuing on with the theme of slammed overlanders - this Toyota bB is a clash of themes between VIP and overlander.
This bB being an Open Deck model to serve with some truck like utility. I like how unique this car is.
Clean silver wrapped Evo X tucking some Work Emotion CRs.
The clear tail lights work really well here.
Tucked FR-S running Heritage Kokoro wheels in the front.
ESR wheels in the back.
Mikuni Kulture’s 180SX.
Mikuni Kulture booth also selling their merch and brought out a Nissan Stagea to show as well.
VIP styled Honda Legend tucking Work VS-KFs.
Won’t run out of cupholders here.
Nissan 370Z with a wide body kit rolling on Work CR 2P.
Pretty wide looking from the rear.
Brkn Dreams Genesis and Toyota Celsior.
Hobby Exclusives Mugen RSX. Crazy to see lambo doors modifications still.
Tucked into the far corner was the RCTS Autoworx booth - unfortunate since I think the two cars they brought out deserved a brighter spotlight given they also had a booth there. Regardless, the cars are quite incredible builds.
First up they brought out a FD3S Mazda RX-7, keeping the exterior quite simple with a Mazdaspeed A-Spec front bumper, rear quarter overfenders and chrome 5 spoke wheels.
As the hood is cut to make clearance, it doesn’t exactly hide much of the supercharged HEMI V8 that provides power to this RX-7. Asides from sitting to tall for the hood to close, it actually fits within the bay nicely. The shaved and tucked bay really highlights the engine. As if the supercharged V8 wasn’t enough, there is also a nitrous system installed…
Interior is kept simple and clean but features a rollcage, momo steering wheel, and an AEM digital dash. Check out the shifter as well.
Nitrous bottle mounted in the trunk.
From the same owner of the RCTS RX-7, is this fully moulded Veilside E-IV model wide body R32 but with the Veilside C-I model front bumper. Advan RG II wheels complete the exterior.
Another very well done shaved and tucked engine bay that showcases the factory RB26 with a single turbo conversion.
My first time seeing a Veilside R32 - I’m sure a first for many too as this has to be pretty rare to come across. Crazy.
Rocket Bunny FR-S on a chrome set of Work VS-XX.
Black House Cinema’s GLE AMG fully designed and equipped for media production. They were operating the camera attached to the crane through-out the day, which was neat to see it being worked.
Taking a look inside there are multiple screens mounted around for the crew to monitor their camera angles.
In the trunk there is even a bucket seat rigged up so that that (presumably) the crane operator has a place to fully control everything they need to. There are even full sized monitors mounted behind the front seat headrests so that crew sitting in the rear can also see and do whatever they might need to in order to capture the perfect shot.
Super cool.
Derek’s clean RX-7 looking athletic with a great fitting set of WedSport TC 105X wheels.
First Gear Project’s HKS Catalogue GR Corolla.
Also showing with First Gear Project was this clean FC Mazda RX-7 on a classic set of RS-Watanabe 8 spoke wheels.
This Impreza WRX with a “MAKE YOUR CAR GREAT AGAIN” hat on the windshield, but then has a box full of self tappers holding garage door trim along the front bumper and side skirts 😕. I think it could have gone without that modification… but to each their own. Otherwise it’s a good look with modest fender flares and a good fitting wheel and tire set up.
Phoenix Yellow ITR on Advan RGs. Clean and classic look.
Mercari Auto’s HKS wide body GR86.
Mercari Auto’s Evo 9 wagon. One of my personal favourites from the show, this Evo has a laundry list of modifications done to it, but some of the most notable changes are the Voltex front bumper, carbon fenders, Varis side skirts all wrapped in yellow
Lots going on inside the engine bay accented with various titanium pieces from RK Titanium,
White on white Toyota Chaser. Super clean and well done.
Ah yes, the Integra-Sol…
This car just needed a little bit more love, and it would have been pretty awesome.
I’m gonna come off as an ass here, but I just gotta say it - it’s ghetto. I know someone put effort into this, but there are so many little things that are done poorly and it shows. I won’t go into details, but the cumulation of all these shortcomings really take away from what this car could and should be. It’s one thing for something to be aesthetically unpleasing, it’s another to be straight up hazardous.
I hope people don’t take this the wrong way - My intention is not to throw shade at this car or the owner. On the contrary, I really wanted to like it. This could have been so good if a little more care and thought went into the process. It has all of the right things, they just needs the attention to get it cleaned up.
Turbocharged K20 swap is absolutely awesome. Should the execution had follow the same intent, this would have been an unreal ride. I hope to see it cleaned up one day.
MK7 Golf R with OZ Ultraleggera HTL centre lock wheels(?) I’d most likely assume that these wheels just feature the centre locking style kit, and has not actually been converted to a centre lock. Couldn’t tell you, though.
Evo X on TE37 Sagas. Carbon hood and ARP rear wing.
JDM Lexus LS460 on 22” Asanti Tiara wheels.
I went to go check to see if they were indeed 22” and… I don’t think I was supposed to see this… Please be safe 😭
This M3 is so damn clean. I love this.
Focus ST with Fifteen52 Holeshot RSR rollers.
Aldrin’s Rocket Bunny FR-S.
Jeff’s S15 Silvia.
Gelo’s Civic Si took home best bagged stance award. I saw on his Instagram that someone stole the $20 that’s seen here tucked up against his front fender and wheel… That’s petty.
Jon’s ASM S2000 with First Gear Project.
John’s Voltex S2000 also representing with First Gear Project.
First Gear Project’s FD2R.
Jamie brought out his DC5 RSX to represent with his new addition of TE37SLs.
I dig the black on black. Car looks great from the rear.
One of the main attractions of the show - Shawn’s freshly put together Pandem V1 wide body GR86, which was under covers during the show set up and was then only revealed once the show had started.
Dumped on a wide set of Work Meister S1s.
Trunk set up displaying the air ride components neatly assembled and routed with RGB lighting.
It took a while for the crowd to dissipate before I was able to get a shot of his car. It was pretty neat to see an unveiling at the show.
Tuner Spirit awards for 2025.
Tuner Spirit also had 4 larger scale top awards that they handed out as well.
Kudos and congratulations to the team at Tuner Spirit for hosting what I’d call a very successful show. The amount of cars and spectators was staggering - probably the largest show in our area. It was a pleasant surprise to see how busy the show was and everyone enjoying their time. I wasn’t able to stay at the show for long, but I was honestly amazed at how well the team did in promoting, organizing, and the way they structured their event. Really, great job.
Although I can’t say it’s my usual crowd or style, I can say that I did enjoy my time there and it’s definitely one worth checking out every year. Thanks again for the crew for allowing me to experience the show. Looking forward to the next one…
